Moose tracks and Mackinac fudge both. Can get busy but its worth it. Both were only $7 which is definitely a deal. Quality is great, very creamy and refreshing. A must visit in Ann Arbor

8/16/26: After a long day, went for more dairy dessert. It was fairly crowded, even though it was around 10pm when I got here. Obviously they had a bunch of different things, but I was already tapped out on sweets, so opted to just get a single ice cream cup, praline pecan. It was okay; creamy, but didn't have the same intensity as in other places. I'm a big proponent of stuff like gloves when dealing with ice cream, and I don't think anyone was wearing them. But what can you expect; its a neighborhood ice cream shop... its not the place to think about such things. All the personnel were solid and upbeat, despite being busy. They appear to be young as well, so +1 for supporting the working youth. And at least they keep their donuts in a glass cabinet, cause I guarantee with the traffic they get, a flying insect or two will definitely be getting in the store.

Washtenaw Dairy has been our favorite ice cream place for years, but I wanted to share some feedback regarding the new policy this summer limiting small sizes to only one flavor. As everyone knows, even a kid’s size is a large portion, and restricting it to a single flavor forces people to either buy larger sizes or order multiple cups just to get some variety, which leads to extra cost and a lot of wasted ice cream. I really hope management considers a solution to bring back the option to split flavors on smaller sizes. I would happily pay an extra 50 cents to split a kid's size into two flavors.

Super good! Staff was really nice, other people ordering gave good recommendations, and the price was super cheap for how much they give you. I got two flavors with a waffle cone for $5, which is wild for Ann Arbor!
